As part of the Hulog ng Langit Foudation awareness campaign, MJ has given away over a million packets containing holy rosaries, holy water and divine mercy posters to enthusiastic households in deprived areas across the country. Rosaries to remind people to pray for guidance in times of difficulty and thank God in times of prosperity; holy water to drive evil spirits in their midst, and Divine Mercy posters for them to realize that there is a God waiting for them in heaven.

Relief Operations

Relief operations provided by Hulog ng Langit of Mark Jimenez

As a tropical country surrounded by water in the Pacific Ring of Fire, the Philippines receives its annual share of natural and man-made disasters. Typhoons, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, floods, mudflows, fires, and drought bring destruction and tremendous sufferings to hundreds of thousands of people every year.

A relief team from the Hulog ng Langit Foundation very often is the first to respond to these calamities. Whether the crisis is in Metro Manila or at the farthest regions of the archipelago, the HNL team has always been at the forefront of relief operations - even ahead of government agencies and politicians. Food, water, shelter, and medical attention from the HNL team

can sometimes make the difference between life and death. Knowing that someone like MJ do really care brings peace of mind to victims of calamities and facilitates the healing process so they can move on.

Sharing of his Blessings

Mark shares his blessings in life with poor families who cannot afford to buy fancy foods during barangay fiestas and special occasions in Metro Manila. Tens of thousands of food packs containing either Kenny Rogers Fried Chicken or a kilo of Pampanga tocino, bread and fruit juice are distributed during these occasions. Thousands of street children are also treated to birthday parties in Jollibee outlets These gestures of kindness from Mark Jimenez and Hulog ng Langit Foundation enable neglected, abused, and deprived families to enjoy the simple joy of a decent meal while the well-to-do families in the barangay are feasting.

Feeding Programs

Despite government claims of economic progress, hunger and poverty stalks the metropolis. In fact, some five million Filipinos admit in a survey that they can barely afford three square meals a day and often go hungry. To partly address this problem, the Hulog ng Langit Foundation has instituted a Feeding Program to distribute family meals and groceries in selected barangays in Metro Manila. In adition, MJ's Soup Kitchens will be established in key locations in the metropolis, offering free meals to tired and hungry people who who come through its doors.

The Feeding Program aims to put into practice the admonition of Jesus Christ for Christians to feed their hungry brothers and sisters.

Believing the poor also deserve decent meals, the Hulog ng Langit Foundation has been actively distributing food packs from Kenny Rogers, Jollibee, McDonalds, Kopirotti, Goldilocks, Pampanga's Best, and many others. So far, the HNL foundation, through the generosity of its benefactor, Mark "MJ" Jimenez, has already spent more than 100 million pesos worth of foodstuffs distributed to local barangays.

Educational Support and Scholarships

The Hulog ng Langit Foundation enables poor but deserving Filipino students to pursue their studies through scholarships, provisions of school supplies, and other education-related programs.

When the pre-need education plan companies such as the Pacific Plans by the Yuchengcos, the College Assurance Plan (CAP) by the Sobrepenas, and the Professional Group by the Colaycos reneged on their responsibilities and refused to honor their obligations to thousands of students, the Hulog ng Langit Foundation came to the rescue.

Mark "MJ" Jimenez strongly condemned what he called these companies' evil acts of widespread deception and set up a 100-million-peso scholarship fund to support the educational needs of the abandoned planholders. As a result, thousands of student beneficiaries were able to continue their education. Hundredswere able to graduate during the school year 2006-2007.

Chapel Support

To help provide solace and spiritual oasis to tired and lost Faithfuls, the Hulog ng Langit Foundation has been renovating and maintaining chapels all over Metro Manila and some parts of the country. At present, HNL Foundation maintains more than 700 chapels in the metropolis alone, delivering candles and fresh flowers every Saturday.

Baptism

“Binyagan Hagdan tungo sa Kalangitan”

“Baptism stairway towards Heaven”

One of the many messages Mark "MJ" Jimenez received from God during his mystical encounter with Jesus Christ in prison is to save the soul of little children. He realized that because of severe poverty, many parents no longer observe the Sacrament of Baptism. They simply don't have the money to have their children baptized. That is because going through the

sacrament of baptism and confirmation later on entails expenses for church fee, copy of birth certificate, good clothes, food for visitors, transportation, etc.

MJ, through the Hulog ng Langit Foundation, has started sponsoring mass baptisms in different barangays - providing everything a family needs for the occasion like church fee, baptism clothes, socks, shoes, food, and picture taking during the event. As the Godfather of all the baptized children, MJ even gives token financial gifts.

MJ plans to expand the mass baptism all over the country very soon. Since baptism is the first requirement for salvation, he feels truly blessed for becoming God's instrument for introducing the Children of God to the Sacrament of Baptism.
